Made using a unique and dangerous Lichtenberg fractal burning technique, these reclaimed wood serving boards are a great way to show off your impeccable style when serving charcuterie, snacks or drinks!
Using directed electricity on dry, hard wood creates what look like lightning strikes through the wood grain; and then a colorful, eco-friendly and food safe, colorful epoxy (eco-poxy) is overlaid into the fractals creating amazing, unique and beautiful designs. Wood is locally and sustainably sourced in the Colorado Rocky Mountains!

The process to make these is a little bit dangerous, as it requires the application of concentrated electricity onto a dry, hardwood surface. As the electricity moves across the wood, it burns these unique fractal patterns along the surface; which are then overlaid by a colored epoxy resin creating a colorful "lightning burst" across the board.

Our turtle board does NOT use Lichtenberg burns but does use an etching and epoxy process that gives a unique pattern with a completely custom color scheme!

Each board is handmade by a woman owned business, and a husband-and-wife Team based in Drake, Colorado; a mountain town nestled in the Rockies just outside of Estes Park. Because of the techniques utilized, each board is completely unique and one-of-a-kind; making the perfect wedding, anniversary, housewarming or birthday gift for anyone who loves to entertain! Boards are treated with a food-safe clear coat and beeswax to keep them shiny, clean and looking new!

About Your Options:
- Custom boards can be made including special colors, designs or etching can be arranged. Contact seller for more info.

- Orange Paddle Acacia board with a built-in wood handle which is 15 7/8" x 8 3/4" and about 1/2" thick.

- Yellow Paddle Acacia board with a built-in wood handle which is 16" x 9" and about 1/2" thick.

- Green, double-holed Acacia board, 20" x 7.25" and about 1/2" thick (tip, the wood holes are perfect for carrying solo cups or dip ramekins on either side of the board.

- Green Rectangle Oak board with rope handles which is 16 1/4" x 10 3/4" and about 1/2" tall with handles.

- Multi-colored, sea turtle pattern Acacia board measuring 17” x9.5" and about 1/2" thick.

All three options represent several hours of hand crafting; and endless love and passion went into each creation.

Care Instructions:
Do not heat cured epoxy resin more than 165F.
Do not place foods/liquids with temperatures above 165F onto the epoxy resin surface.
Do not place epoxy resin the microwave to heat foods or liquids.
Do not cut on the epoxy resin surface. It may damage the surface or dull your knife.
Epoxy resin is not antimicrobial. Clean with mild-soap and warm water.

While we are certain you will love your new board, should a return be necessary please allow up to 45 days for a replacement item; as every piece is one-of-a-kind and a replacement will have to be custom made.
Polished with beeswax. If surface becomes dull, reapply and buff.
